  • Description: A movie director takes a tour of the turbulent Balkan peninsula, and, like another Ulysses, he makes a return trip through memory and the skeins of recent history. A quest involving the old Greek urban centers which have collapsed into ruin and faded. Florina, Korytsa, Monastiri, Filippoupoli, the Black Sea, Constanţa, Bucharest, the Danube, Belgrade, Mostar and the tragic Sarajevo. An endless landscape of wounds that have not healed in almost a century. A motive for this wandering is a can of film by the first cinematographers in the Balkans, the Manakia brothers, which has not been developed or processed since the early 20th century, as is the case with the Balkans as well.
